An Introduction to Landscape Photography

Two Days, Saturday and Sunday, based at Aberfoyle, Trossachs.

This weekend course offers the opportunity to learn new skills or improve on existing skills with your camera. The course is presented in the form of illustrated lectures, practical workshops, assignments on location and involves both individual and group tuition. Notes and handouts accompany each topic in the course, with lots of scope for questions and discussion. You will be taken to a wide variety of landscape settings so that you can put your new skills and techniques into practice straight away, with help and advice always close at hand.

The main topics covered include Landscape Interpretation, Exposure, Composition and Light in the Landscape, with sections on equipment, film, processing considerations and as many other subjects as time and weather permit.

We provide all tuition and transport to and from all locations. The course is available with or without accommodation.

For the purposes of this course, we have been granted vehicular access to the forest and hill tracks of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, by kind permission of the Forestry Commission.

"A huge thanks for the weekend -both you and the scenery really inspired me" L.B., Falkirk
