This is home territory; in fact the photograph above was taken about 400 metres from our house! The region was awarded National Park status in 2002. A delightful area of loch-filled glens surrounded by birch and oak woods, pine-scented hills and craggy mountain tops, often referred to as "Scotland in miniature". There's an awesome number of photographs still to be taken here!
