Photograph Scotland On Location: The Ardnamurchan Peninsula
| A photo tour of 5 days, suitable for all levels, photographing the Ardnamurchan Peninsula; the furthest point west on the British mainland. The ancient volcanic landscapes of Ardnamurchan are lower, but no less rugged than other parts of the Scottish Highlands. This is a peaceful, remote and sparsely populated region, full of photographic potential. At this time of year, wild flowers are abundant and the long daylight hours are a real bonus for photographers. The seascapes here are arguably among the best in the world, with views to the islands of Rum, Eigg, Muck, Skye, Mull and even on occasion to the Outer Hebrides. Other highlights include Castle Tioram, Mingarry Castle and, time and weather permitting, we take a ferry trip to the colourful town of Tobermory on the Island of Mull. |
